Becoming an Ekiden Ambassador is simple and rewarding. Here’s a quick rundown of the process.

Apply
Fill out the Ambassador application (tell us about yourself and why you’re excited about Ekiden). We’re looking for passionate, positive community members – no strict requirements beyond enthusiasm and honesty.

Selection
Our team reviews applications and selects Ambassadors in batches. If you’re selected, we’ll reach out with a warm welcome! You’ll join our Ambassador group (on Discord and other channels) and go through a brief onboarding to get you up to speed. We’ll provide all the resources and guidance you need to succeed.

Contribute
Jump in and do what you do best. Create content, engage with the community, host events – however you choose to contribute. We’ll regularly share fun tasks and challenges for you to tackle. As you complete tasks, log your contributions to earn points on the leaderboard.

Earn
At the end of each month, we tally up points and reward our Ambassadors. You’ll receive any tokens/stablecoins you’ve earned, along with news about who leveled up or scored top spots. Then the next cycle begins! Throughout it all, you’ll be growing your reputation, making friends, and having a blast helping Ekiden grow.
FAQ
Anyone who is passionate about Ekiden and our community! There’s no strict profile – we welcome content creators, developers, students, professionals, and crypto newbies alike. As long as you’re enthusiastic about our mission and ready to contribute positively, you’re eligible to apply. (You do need to be an adult legally able to participate in such programs in your region.)
The program is designed to be flexible. There’s no fixed hourly requirement per week – you can contribute on your own schedule. That said, to get the most out of it (and climb the leaderboard!), we recommend regular activity such as a few hours each week. Whether it’s engaging in chat, creating a post, or organizing a meetup, you decide how you contribute. Quality of engagement matters more than quantity.
Our team carefully reviews each application. We look for genuine enthusiasm, good communication skills, and a community-oriented attitude. Prior involvement in the Ekiden community is a plus but not mandatory. We aim to select a diverse group of Ambassadors who can each bring something unique to the table. If you’re not chosen in the first round, don’t be discouraged – we may have limited slots, and you’re encouraged to reapply in the future after gaining more community experience.
Ekiden Ambassadors are volunteers rather than employees – it’s not a traditional job. However, Ambassadors are rewarded for their efforts through the program’s incentive system (think monthly token or stablecoin rewards, NFTs, etc.). You’ll earn crypto rewards and perks based on your contributions and engagement. The better you perform, the more you can earn. It’s our way of saying thank you for helping Ekiden flourish. (Note: There’s no fixed salary – rewards depend on your involvement and the program’s rules.)
Absolutely! You don’t need to be a DeFi guru or Ekiden expert to start. In fact, being an Ambassador is a great way to learn. We provide training, resources, and a supportive community to help you. If you’re enthusiastic, willing to learn, and proactive, you can succeed as an Ambassador. Seasoned community members and newcomers each offer valuable perspectives – a mix of both makes our team stronger.
There’s no hard time limit – the Ambassador Program is ongoing. As long as you remain active and fulfill the basic expectations, you can continue being an Ambassador for as long as you like. We operate on rolling cycles (with monthly rewards and possibly occasional new cohort intakes), but many Ambassadors stick around season after season. We love building long-term relationships! Of course, if you ever need to step back or take a break, just let us know. You’re free to step down at any time – no hard feelings.
